The Electrical Power Line Mechanic Program provides students with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to become productive members of a utility system line crew. With a focus on safety, students learn basic electrical theory, pole climbing techniques, hardware identification and installation, aerial and underground construction techniques, digger-derrick and bucket truck operation, and more. These are the skills needed to enter into advanced apprenticeship programs required by industry employers.
